Well, another Tuesday is upon us and I can’t for the life of me find any traces of me getting topics for this week so I’ll just leave it up to fate and we’ll see what happens.

We’ll be holding off for about a week to start karaoke on Sunday’s at Dad’s Bar & Grill in Manheim. We’ll let you know as soon as we’re given the final ok by the management. In the meantime, we’re still starting our karaoke shows this Thursday at 9pm. DJ jDJ will be spinning music in the Dawg Haus with mich313 Friday and Saturday starting at 10pm – oh and did I forget to meantion that all 3 karaoke shows and both dance nights are in a smoking venue? Yes, that’s right, no more sweating outside in this miserable July fall-like weather because the AC is on inside and the ashtrays are on the bar! Hope to see you all out soon and please help us spread the word about these great new shows!

So we made a few mentions of some exciting stuff happening this week and I figure it’s time to announce it. Starting this Thursday, July 23, we are taking our karaoke shows to a new venue! Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at Dad’s Bar & Grill in Manheim we’ll be hosting karaoke starting at 9pm! On the schedule we have Sunday listed as well, I just need to iron out a few details regarding the show, but for all intents and purposes consider it on for this coming Sunday! Don’t worry, we’re still at Bube’s Brewery every Sunday night and Club XS on Wednesday’s hosting karaoke, too! Our trivia shows remain the same as well.  Friday and Saturday night we’ll be DJing in the Dawg Haus, same location – but in the club, as soon as I get the final schedule I’ll post that information as well. Sean will be hosting the majority of the new karaoke shows and JD & Michele will be spinning the music at the Dawg Haus along with some great guest DJ’s.

So join us for karaoke this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Dad’s Bar & Grill and Friday and Saturday nights at the Dawg Haus for some great dance music! We really hope to bring something special to all of these new shows and look forward to making some great new friends!

Tonight at the Cat’s Meow in Manheim our topics were chosen by Do You Have Spoons. After careful consideration they have chosen Professional Tennis and Medicine / Anatomy. I’m working on the questions right now so we’ll see how they actually go, plus I think it’s fair to say that some questions for this entire week will have to do with some of the historical happenings for this week in history. I might even throw in a few questions about a certain exhibit my son and I visitted at the Franklin Institute yesterday. Plus we’ve got an announcement to make but I’ll save that for another post.

Well, it’s time for trivia once again at the Tilted Kilt in Mount Joy, PA! Looking forward to seeing you all there at 9pm. Tonight’s special topics are ‘Company Products’ and ‘American History’ and were picked by Larry’s Girls. Good luck to everyone. Also, at the risk of getting ahead of myself, check our website in the early part of this coming week for a MAJOR announcement. That’s all I can say for now.

Sorry guys, I’ve been tied up today with a new installation here at the house so this is the first chance I’ve gotten to hop on the web, research my topics and of course post about them here! So, without any more waiting, the topics for tonight at Brendee’s are: Books of the Bible and Ethiopian Cuisine. Yeah, like this is going to be a walk in the park! Don’t worry, there will be a picture round tonight..

Well, as stated before, we took a vote and trivia is back on at the Tilted Kilt tonight! I’m back from vacation as well rested so it should make for an interesting night of trivial madness. No special topics were picked for tonight so you’ll just have to wait and see what direction the questions may go in. I look forward to seeing you there! 9pm.

I’m back from vacation, at least physically, most likely my mind will catch up sometime around the middle of next week.  I was sitting there on the beach with some sort of frozen concoction with large pieces of pineapple dangling off the side when I realized just how much I missed my trivia shows, that revelation was quickly erradicated when the pizza arrived. Yes, it was all fun and exciting – sitting on the beach catching some sun, relaxing on the dock crabbing, walking the boardwalk while eating junkfood and unwinding with a beer on my front porch – but that all gets old after a while (a very long while that my mind can’t fathom). So it’s back to central Pennsylvania, a little darker, a little skinnier and slightly more relaxed. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Cat’s Meow tonight – supposedly our topics are the 1980’s NY Met’s and Presidential landmarks – if I get around to it, I might even use them! For now it’s off to lunch and then back to writing questions. See ya tonight!
